On November 27, Newly-arrived Chinese Consul General in Sydney HU Shan visited the New South Wales Parliament, where he paid a courtesy call to Mr. Barry O'Farrelle, Leader of Opposition. The two had a friendly exchange of opinions on China-Australia relations. Mr. O'Farrelle welcomed Mr. Hu to Mr. HU fully agreed with Mr. O'Farrelle on his comments about the bilateral relationship, and added that the strong mutual economic complementarity between the two nations would continue to serve as the driving force for the flourishing development of mutual exchanges and cooperation.
