With the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China  held in November 2012, China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. 

Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the Chinese people have been united as one, forged ahead, overcome difficulties and made great achievements that have attracted worldwide attention. China has achieved the first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and has embarked on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country. 

On October 16, 2022, the CPC holds its 20th National Congress to draw a new blueprint for China's future development. With an aim to fully displaying China’s great achievements in the past ten years, and telling the stories of China in the new era, the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney，in cooperation with the State Council Information Office of the PRC, holds an online theme exhibition named “AN EXTRAORDINARY DECADE OF CHINA IN THE NEW ERA” on its website.
