Consul General Duan Jielong Visited Parramatta, Hurstville and Auburn

At the invitation of Councillor John Chedid, Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Councillor Philip Sansom, Mayor of Hurstvill, and Councillor Ronney Oueik, Mayor of Auburn, Consul General Duan Jielong recently paid respective visits to the three cities.

Mr. Duan and the mayors exchange ideas on ways to further promote their cooperation with China, and noted that such cooperation served the fundamental interests of the peoples of China and Australia. He said that the Consulate General will make every endeavor to push for closer ties between China and NSW.

Councillor Chedid, Councillor Sansom and Councillor Oueik welcomed the Consul General's visit, and pledged their full support for a better relationship between NSW and China.

Deputy Consul General Liu Kan attended the visits.
